Commandments Of The Beeryanigod

Three Monkeys ;)

When I wanted to get into business, it wasn’t just for making money, but also to make the world a better place.

In my little experience, I’ve noticed that most businesses seem too scared to stand up for something because they’re afraid they may lose business.

There’s a high chance we may lose some business too, but I still want to risk it and stand for something we believe in and be a force for change.

Because at the end of the day, I know I will sleep better at night, knowing that we have created something a few people love than create something mediocre and have a lot of people kinda sorta like what we do.

The following are the commandments that we believe in, stand for and use as our guiding principles to ensure that we are on the right track.

Some of you will love them, while some others will not like them at all.

I believe life’s too short to waste time doing things you don’t love. If the commandments don’t interest/excite you, we won’t be a right fit for each other and you should look for a different place.

If, on the other hand, you love what we guys represent and stand for, I assure you, we’re going to become the bestest of friends and have a lifetime of memories at Beeryani Fitness.

Why I Started Beeryani Fitness

I shouldn’t be doing business.

I do more mistakes than rights. I am naive, I have a natural talent to do stupid shit from time to time and I’m a lunatic. I feel like I’m cheating other people when someone asks me for a discount and I still have no idea how to partner with people and use my network wisely.

During the three years after college, I never had any money. I probably made less than 30,000 INR. Thrity freaking thousand, over three long years! I was fickle-minded, always dependent on other people. I could never do any kind of work for more than 4 weeks straight. I wasn’t even worthy of employment. By any logic, I had no right to start a business. read more »

Eradicate the Cardio Virus and Lose Weight without Any cardio!

Every day of every year, every week of every month, hundreds of people fall victim to a deadly virus called Cardio.

Back when I freshly got into the fitness industry, I didn’t know it then, but I had the virus too! I used to feel that cardio was the answer for every fitness problem. Whether one wanted to lose weight, stay healthy or improve stamina? Cardio was the answer!

It was a difficult time for me and I still don’t feel comfortable talking about those vulnerable moments without tearing up, but it’s high time now. I don’t want you or anyone else to go through the same thing again because that’s what guys who wear capes do. Save the human race.

I was spending hours running, jogging, walking at a faster pace on the toes and I also used this machine which made me look like I was running. It was horrible. I still have nightmares about it. read more »

The Case Against Working Out: Why You ‘Should’nt Work Out

The title ain’t click-bait, I don’t think you should workout!

I don’t think anyone “should” work out.

As long as you feel like you ‘should’ workout, I don’t want you to work out. I want you to wait, wait for as long as you feel that you should work out.

Then one fine day, when you feel like you had it enough and ‘want to’ work out, you have my permission to start. read more »

Whose Fault Is It If You Quit?

Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.

Lance Armstrong.

Quitting is the easiest thing to do.

Robert Kiyosaki

Even with the little life experience under my belt, I have given up on my health and many other things, more times than I can comfortably admit.

In just the last one year, I would have given up going to the gym, more than four times. With a rough estimate, I would say that I have stopped going to the gym a good 2 dozen times over the years. read more »

Have you ever felt so frustrated that you wanted to change everything from tomorrow?

I know, I have! I’m a dreamer, I dream with my eyes wide open and behind closed lids.

I dream of the day I have multi-million dollar businesses, running on their own. While I’m at it, I might as well dream of doing all this while making a dent in the world.

For a long time, I wanted my life to change and turn into read more »

I remember this one time, I was in a business meeting and I was using the Fuck word like a madman, talking about masturbation and exercise. Though the deal didn’t materialize, I am pretty sure they will remember me as the guy who spoke about masturbation. read more »
